Family of Motorsports Photographer, Jody Johnson Searching For Funeral Expense Help

On August 24, Jody “the Jetman” Johnson passed away unexpectedly. If you ever visited Myrtle Beach Speedway or nearby karting tracks, then you probably met Jody, or he took a photo of you. He was known throughout the pits as being a selfless guy who loved racing and wanted to capture the moments. He also assisted various teams throughout the race weekends, too.

Now, his family is asking for help to cover expenses revolving around his passing. On his GoFundMePage, the family says:

As many of you know by now, Jody passed away suddenly & unexpectedly on 8/24. Jody did not have any sort of life insurance & his family does not have the funds to pay for his cremation & services. Jody also lived with his sisters & helped contribute to the household bills, so they are feeling his loss financially as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jody was an avid race fan his entire life, please help us make his final lap possible.
