DILLON, S.C. – Due to the projected weather forecast on Friday, Dillon Motor Speedway has rescheduled the 9th annual New Year’s BASH to Saturday and Sunday, January 5-6.

The first event of the 2019 season at Dillon Motor Speedway was originally scheduled for January 4-5, but the weather forecast is calling for rain on Friday, which meant practice would be rained out. In an effort to give drivers more track time, Saturday, will now be a practice and qualifying day, while Sunday will feature a very quick practice session, qualifying for support divisions and the races.

For the first time ever, the 109-lap Street Stock race will be filmed for MAVTV. The race will be tape delayed for the national broadcast on February 13, 2019. More than 40 Street Stock drivers from around the country have already registered to compete in the prestigious event. Dillon Motor Speedway is expecting more than 100 cars total for the weekend.

Grandstand tickets will be $15 on Sunday, and kids 11-year-old and younger will enter the grandstands for free.
