PHOTOS: 2024 Northeast Sportsman Modifieds Ginger Billy Special At Lake View Motor Speedway
by Hunter Thomas August 25, 2024 0 commentsNICHOLS, S.C. – Lake View Motor Speedway’s infield overflowed with more than 100 race cars as seven divisions hit the track for the Northeast Sportsman Modifieds Ginger Billy Special.
Cameron Norris IV outran New Jersey’s Scott Hulmes to win the Northeast Sportsman Modified feature, as well as the $1,500 purse. George Gareis Jr. finished third, followed by Josh Kane and Kyle Whitney.
Sumter, South Carolina’s Cameron Holloway won in Street Stocks. Cameron Norris IV came up short to finish second. Rounding out the top-five was Blaise Bryant, Andrew Register and Austin Brown.
Charles Nicholson from Round O, South Carolina was victorious in Stock V8. Scott Lewis was runner-up, followed by Ed Mason, Chip Fenoff and Kirkland Hucks.
Jason Brown of Green Sea, South Carolina took the checkered flag in the Sport Compact division. Chelsey Richardson, Brian Mercer, Kyle Jenks and James Dean completed the top-five.
In Vintage Modifieds, it was Jeremy Cumbee who topped the field. Nathan Swann finished second, followed by Joey Babson, Pete Cory and Wes Horrell.
Shaun Harrell of Hope Mill, North Carolina outdrove 19 drivers to win in Late Models. Michael Batten and Michael Marlowe finished second and third consecutively. Completing the top-five was Dustin Mitchell and Dan Breuer.
Benji Thompson won in Super Street. Rounding out the top-five was David Ryal, Russell Boyd, Peyton Abbott and Johnny Moore.
