VIDEO/QUALIFYING RESULTS: Wisconsin’s Dave Trute Wins Pole For 2023 New Year’s Bash At Dillon Motor Speedway

DILLON, S.C. – Wisconsin native, Dave Trute topped the speed chart on Saturday, winning the pole for the 2023 New Year’s Bash. He posted a lap time of 17.980, outrunning Darlington’s Ricky Locklair Jr., who ran an 18.089-second lap.

The top-20 qualifiers are locked into the main event on Sunday, while others will have to race their way in through a B-Main.
