VIDEO: Chase Briscoe Frustrated With Appeals Timing, Now Has To Perform Well At ROVAL

CONCORD, N.C. – Chase Briscoe went from being above the Round of 8 cutline of the NASCAR Playoffs, to being below it after William Byron won his appeal for spinning out Denny Hamlin under caution at Texas Motor Speedway.

The decision came earlier this week prior to the race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL. Briscoe is frustrated because he says that he would have approached Talladega differently. Now that he’s 12 points below the cutline, he’ll have to perform well in Sunday’s Bank of America ROVAL 400 in order to advance to the Round of 8 of the NASCAR Playoffs.
