SOUTH BOSTON, Va. – NASCAR Local Racing Series Late Model drivers went head-to-head in the Thunder Road Harley-Davidson 200 at South Boston Speedway on Saturday for bragging rights in the Virginia Triple Crown.

NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series regular, Kaden Honeycutt held off Trevor Ward to win the prestigious event and to claim his third consecutive victory at the Virginia track. Honeycutt was awarded $11,400 in race winnings and bonuses.

Ward held on to finish runner-up. Landon Pembelton who restarted 14th at the halfway break, raced his way towards the front of the pack to finish third. Carson Brown and Landon Lewis rounded out the top-five.

Completing the top-10 was Caden Kvapil, Connor Hall, Trey Crews, Doug Barnes Jr. and Blake Stallings.

In the Budweiser Limited Sportsman Division race, Tristan Brunelli started on the pole and led all 40 laps en route to winning his third race of the season at South Boston Speedway. Division points leader Drew Dawson finished second, followed by Dan Rogers, Chris Elliott and Jacon Derrick.

Johnny Layne took the checkered flag in the Southside Disposal Pure Stock feature. Jay Hemenway finished second, while Barry Reaves, Dillon Davis and Jarrett Johnson completed the top-five.

Chris Penick won in Dollar General Hornets. Rounding out the top five was Landon Milam, Cameron Goble, Jason DeCarlo and Cameron Moss.
