RIDGEWAY, Va. – William Byron advanced to the final round of the NASCAR Playoffs by a mere eight points over Denny Hamlin who finished third in the Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway. Byron didn’t have the smoothest day, but a 13th-place finish solidified him opportunity to compete for his first-ever NASCAR Cup Series championship at Phoenix Raceway.
