CONCORD, N.C. – Tyler Reddick beat the heat and the competition in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Alsco 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Reddick’s victory in the Saturday afternoon scorcher marks his fifth win in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and his second this season.

On a wild restart with 15 laps to go, Reddick and Cole Custer were lined up on the front row. Custer spun his tires and lost several positions, as Reddick pulled away. On fresh tires, Justin Allgaier pulled into second place, and Jeffrey Earnhardt battled his way into third.

Allgaier finished the race in the second position with Earnhardt behind him in third.

Allgaier’s second-place finish in the Alsco 300 is now his best finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Earnhardt earned his first top-five in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with his career-best third place finish in Saturday’s race.

Noah Gragson finished in fourth and Justin Haley finished in fifth. Michael Annett, Jeb Burton, Ryan Sieg, Austin Cindric and Brandon Jones finished in the top-10.

Christopher Bell won Stage 1. On the final lap of Stage 2, Bell’s No. 20 Toyota suffered significant right front damage when a tire went down. Bell’s day ended following the damage.

Reddick earned the Stage 2 win before going on to win the race.

Over the course of the 300-mile, 200-lap race around the 1.5-mile oval, there were 10 cautions.

Reddick continues to lead the NASCAR Xfinity Series points standings after 11 races this season.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series returns to competition on Saturday, June 1 for the Pocono Green 250 Recycled by J.P. Mascaro & Sons at Pocono Raceway. Live coverage will be found on FOX Sports 1 (FS1) at 1 p.m. ET.
