PHOTOS: 2018 Federated Auto Parts 400 At Richmond Raceway

RICHMOND, Va. – After battling Brad Keselowski in the closing laps of Saturday’s Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond Raceway, Kyle Busch prevailed to win his 50th-career Monster Energy NASCAR  Cup Series race and his seventh of the 2018 season.

The win solidifies Busch a spot in the Round of 12 in the NASCAR Playoffs. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver led 92 laps in his No. 18 M&M’s Toyota.

Kevin Harvick was chasing Busch down in the closing laps, but he came up short to finish second. Martin Truex Jr. who led a race high of 163 laps finished third after overcoming a pit road penalty early in the race. Rounding out the top-five were Chase Elliott and Aric Almirola.
