DILLON, S.C. – Jared Irvan made a late-race pass on Christian Eckes to win the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Winter Meltdown at Dillon Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon.

A stout field of 24 Super Late Model drivers started the 200-lap PASS season opener. Eckes, who won last season’s Myrtle Beach 400 and Snowball Derby dominated the majority of the race on Saturday; however, on a restart with just 14 laps to go, Irvan was able to make the pass for the lead as the field barreled into Turns 3 and 4.  Irvan held on for the win, and the victory was his first in the series since 2015, when he captured the checkered flag at Anderson Motor Speedway in South Carolina’s Upstate. Finished behind Irvan and Eckes was Bradley McCaskill. Ben Rowe and Spencer Davis rounded out the top-five.

Hunter Thomas was at the track covering all of the action on Saturday. Below are a few photos that he captured throughout the afternoon.
