Josh Turner, a native of Hannah, South Carolina, will perform a pre-race concert before the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday, March 5, 2017.

The concert will begin at 1 p.m. on the frontstretch of the 1.5-mile track. Turner’s debut album, “Long Black Train” was released on October 14, 2003, and since then, he has become a country music superstar. During the concert at Atlanta Motor Speedway, he’ll perform songs from his latest album, “Punching Bag”, as well as popular hits from his previous albums.

Turner has performed at NASCAR events before. In 2007, he sang the National Anthem at Darlington Raceway. Atlanta Motor Speedway’s Speedway Motorsports, Inc. sister tracks, New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway have also hosted the Palmetto State native on stage. Turner performed at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in 2009 and again, prior to the All-Star race at Charlotte Motor Speedway back in 2013.

Sunday’s pre-race pit passes at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March, will allow fans access to Josh Turner’s concert. While on pit road, fans will also get a first-hand look of the race cars and crew members preparing for the 500.5-mile event. The pre-race pit passes are good for driver introductions as well. Sunday only pre-race pit passes are $100 each, but there are a limited number that will be available.

Fans attending the second NASCAR weekend of the 2017 season can also spend $125 to purchase a three-day pit pass. NASCAR Qualifying Day will be held on Friday, and on Saturday, the NASCAR XFINITY Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will hit the track for their weekend events. Remember, in order use the pre-race pit pass, fans must also purchase either a grandstand or infield ticket.
