Charlotte NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Race Postponed To Saturday Morning
by Hunter Thomas May 22, 2026 0 commentsCONCORD, NC – The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway will run on Saturday morning at 8 a.m. after inclement weather prevailed on Friday night.
NASCAR attempted to start the race, but before the green flag could wave, rain began to fall. Corey Day, who is piloting Kyle Busch’s Spire Motorsports No. 7 Chevrolet will bring the field to the green flag with Front Row Motorsports’ Layne Riggs alongside of him.
Fans will be able to enter Gates 4, 5A and 5B beginning at 7 a.m. Friday’s tickets will get attendees through the gates, and tickets will be available for purchase at 7 a.m. as well. Kids 12 and under get in free. Fans who are unable to attend the event can learn more about Speedway Motorsports Weather Guarantee.
As for Coca-Cola 600 qualifying and NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Charbroil 300 action, gates will open at 3 p.m.
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series North Carolina Education Lottery 200 will broadcast live on FS1.
