LEBANON, Tenn. – Carson Hocevar won the Rackley Roofing 200 at Nashville Superspeedway after taking the lead with 40 laps to go.

Hocevar entered the weekend coming off four consecutive top-five finishes, and on Friday night in Tennessee, the 20-year-old had a solid night as he won his second-career victory after taking the lead away from Corey Heim on a Lap 110 restart. The win came in the final race of the Triple Truck Challenge, where Hocevar was awarded an additional $50,000.

On the final lap, Zane Smith just barely held off Nick Sanchez for the runner-up finish. Heim finished fourth, followed by Bayley Currey. Rounding out the top-10 was Chase Purdy, Matt DiBenedetto, Tyler Ankrum, Ben Rhodes and Jake Garcia.

Smith won Stage 1, and Heim won Stage 2. Heim also led a race high of 57 laps throughout the night as well.

There were seven cautions for 43 laps. Three of the cautions were for multi-truck accidents.

It took just six laps to bring out the first caution. Hallie Deegan got loose in Turn 4 and collected Lawless Alan and Jack Wood.

On lap 94, the caution flew for an incident on the backstretch involving Daniel Dye, Layne Riggs, and Bret Holmes. Dye spun and collected Riggs. With nowhere to go, Holmes made hard contact with Riggs’ truck.

Shortly after the beginning of stage 3, Dean Thompson and Christian Eckes spun in Turn 2. The race’s green-white-checkered finish was set up by the caution that came out with eight laps to go when Stewart Friesen spun and sent himself, as well as  and Christian Eckes through the infield on the frontstretch causing a green-white-checkered finish.

Heim continues to lead the series standings by just 16 points over Smith.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will visit Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Saturday, July 8 for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 150 at Mid-Ohio. Live coverage will broadcast on FS1 at 1:30 p.m. ET.
