RIDGEWAY, Va. – Martin Truex Jr. dominated Sunday’s First Data 500 at Martinsville Speedway to lock a spot in the Championship 4.

Truex led a race high of 464 of the 500 laps en route to winning his seventh victory of the season. The win guarantees him a spot in the Championship 4 at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November.

William Byron was the only driver who was close enough to challenge Truex in the final laps, but at the end of the night, he had to settle for a runner-up finish.

Brad Keselowski finished third, followed by Denny Hamlin, Ryan Blaney, Kurt Busch, Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano, Kyle Larson and Ryan Newman.
