Horry County Fair Rides And Amusements Arrive At Myrtle Beach Speedway

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – It’s starting to look like a Fair at the Myrtle Beach Speedway. The 2nd Annual Horry County Fair presented by Philanthropist.com is taking shape at Myrtle Beach Speedway for Spring Break, April 7th-16th, 2017.

This year will be bigger and better than last offering more for free. Free attractions include the National Wildlife Interactive Butterfly Exhibit and Monarch Display, a 100 ft. Death Defying Car Jump by “Stunt Show Joe”, Skid Plate Racing on the Speedway, Myrtle Beach Drifting, Robinson’s Racing Pigs, Five Star Petting Zoo and Traxxus Monster Truck Display with Driver Meet and Greet. Free entertainment on the Live Entertainment Stage includes Legends in Concert Elvis Presley, The Blues Brothers, and Alan Jackson. Other local acts include Landon Wall, Mini Elvis, Miracle Max and the Pet Monsters, One Voice and Shawn Bilton to name a few.

Extended Fair hours will give fair goers more time to enjoy everything this year’s fair has to offer. Friday, Saturday and Sunday fair hours are Noon-11pm and Monday thru Thursday 2pm-11pm. Expansion of the Midway makes more room for more rides and more games. More food vendors will be set up offering fair food staples like fried Oreos, fried dough, pizza, slushies and hot dogs plus a new Horry County favorite, Chicken Bog. At the “Grab n Go” you can grab a quick snack, a drink and Chicken Bog then go back to enjoying the fair.

During the Fair Myrtle Beach Speedway will be offering NASCAR Racing Experience on a daily basis with rides starting at $20. NASCAR Whelen drivers will be doing a free meet and greet prior to the NASCAR Whelen All American Race. Race tickets for kids 11 & under are free. Adults are $15.

“Last year being our first year having the Horry County Fair at Myrtle Beach Speedway we set record attendance numbers. This year’s focus is bigger and better offering free stuff for everyone to enjoy” said Steve Zacharias, General Manager Myrtle Beach Speedway.

Admission to the Horry County Fair is free for kids 4 and under. $3 for kids 5-11 and $5 for Adults. Senior Citizens 65+ and Military are $3. Parking is free.
