VIDEO: Denny Hamlin Finishes Second At Martinsville After Dominate Performance

RIDGEWAY, Va. – Despite having a dominate car, Hamlin finished a close second to Chase Elliott in Sunday’s Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway.

The driver of the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 11 Bob’s Discount Furniture Toyota started on the pole, swept Stages 1 and 2 and led 292 of 400 laps. In the closing laps, Hamlin just couldn’t get close enough to Elliott to challenge for the win.
