MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Myrtle Beach Speedway hosted the 4th annual IceBreaker, its season opening event on Saturday.

Ty Gibbs, grandson of former Washington Redskins coach, Joe Gibbs took the lead with just more than 10 laps to go and held off Ryan Millington and Justin Milliken to the win in the prestigious race.

Ryan Howard took the checkered flag in the 50-lap Mini Stock feature just prior to the 125-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series race.

Ricky Loklair Jr. won the Street Stock race on Saturday.
