RIDGEWAY, Va. – Johnny Sauter dominated the Texas Roadhouse 200 presented by Alpha Energy Solutions at Martinsville Speedway on Saturday to clinch a spot in the Championship 4.

Sauter led a race high of 148 laps in the 200-lap event on Saturday afternoon. The victory is his sixth of the season and his fourth at Martinsville Speedway. Throughout the afternoon, Sauter was hardly challenged as he piloted his GMS Racing No. 21 ISM Connect Chevrolet to victory in the Round of 6 event. He will now compete for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November.

NASCAR Playoff competitor, Brett Moffitt finished second after starting the race in 17th. The runner-up finish marks Moffitt’s second top-three finish in the last four races.

Myatt Snider pulled off a bold move on a restart to take the lead away from Sauter on lap 160; however, a caution came out on the same lap, and he lost the lead once the field went back to green. Snider continued to stay upfront en route to capturing his third top-five of the season.

Ben Rhodes and Easley, South Carolina native, Kyle Benjamin rounded out the top-five. Saturday’s start was Benjamin’s second in the series. He also captured a top-five (second-place) at Martinsville back in March.

NASCAR Playoff competitors, Justin Haley and Noah Gragson finished sixth and seventh. Completing the top-10 were Harrison Burton, Christian Eckes and Timothy Peters.

During the Texas Roadhouse 200 presented by Alpha Energy Solutions, there were six cautions for 43 laps. The most notable caution came out on lap 161, when NASCAR Playoff driver, Grant Enfinger spun in Turn 1. Chase Purdy also spun as well. Enfinger never fully recovered as he finished 14th.

Sitting second in the NASCAR Playoff points behind Sauter is Noah Gragson, who is 24 points above the Championship 4 cutline. Brett Moffitt is third (+15), followed by Grant Enfinger (+2), Justin Haley (-2) and Matt Crafton (-10).

The second race of the Round of 6 will be held at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday, November 2. Live coverage of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will broadcast on FOX Sports 1 (FS1) and the Motor Racing Network (MRN) at 8:30 p.m. ET.
