Bank Of America 500 Start Time Moved Up To 1:10 p.m. At Charlotte Motor Speedway
by Hunter Thomas October 7, 2017 0 commentsCONCORD, N.C. – In an effort to get ahead of the threat of inclement weather, Sunday’s Bank of America 500 start time has been moved up to 1:10 p.m. ET at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Live coverage of the 334-lap NASCAR Playoff race in North Carolina will begin at 1 p.m. ET on the NBC.
UPDATE: The race will now begin at 1 p.m.
Gates, as well as the Fan Zone, will open at 9 a.m. ET, while driver appearances will take place at 11 a.m. ET. Driver introductions will get underway at the track at 12:20 p.m. ET.
Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin and Matt Kenseth will lead the field to the green flag for the 58th running of the Bank of America 500. The pole effort marks Hamlin’s first of the season and his second at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
