PHOTOS: 2017 ISM Connect 300 Weekend’s Friday Action At New Hampshire Motor Speedway

LOUDON, N.H. – On Friday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour hit the track in preparation for this weekend’s races.

Kyle Busch captured his second Coors Light Pole in-a-row in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series after clocking a lap of 28.203 seconds at 135.049 mph. Kyle Larson will start alongside of him in Sunday’s ISM Connect 300. Denny Hamlin will start third, followed by Ryan Blaney and Chicagoland Speedway winner, Martin Truex Jr. The ISM Connect 300 will broadcast on the NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Noah Gragson paced opening practice in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Todd Gilliland was second fastest, and Justin Haley was third. In final practice, Gragson’s Kyle Busch Motorsports teammate, Christopher Bell, led the way. Ben Rhodes was second, and Todd Gilliland was third. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will qualify at 10:05 a.m. ET on Saturday. The UNOH 175 is set to begin at 1 p.m. ET. Live coverage will broadcast on FOX Sports 1 (FS1).

Ryan Newman, who is pulling double duty this weekend, will start on the pole for Saturday’s NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour F.W. Webb 100. Rowan Pennick will start beside Newman on the front row. Rounding out the top-five is Donny Lia, Timmy Solomito and Patrick Emerling.
