MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Virginia’s Lee Pulliam saved his tires and passed Brian Vause in the closing laps to win the 2nd Annual IceBreaker on Saturday at Myrtle Beach Speedway.

Pulliam sat on the pole for the 125-lap race, but he fell back early to save tires. On lap 109, Pulliam was able to get around local competitor, Brian Vause for the race lead. Never looking back, Pulliam went on to win the prestigious NASCAR Whelen All-American Series event. With the victory, Pulliam took home a $5,000 purse, and he has a lock-in spot in this year’s Myrtle Beach 400 in November. Brian Vause was the runner-up, followed by R.D. Smith, Justin Johnson and Tommy Lemons Jr.
