Justin Allgaier Wins At Martinsville, Goes Back-To-Back In NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series

RIDGEWAY, Va. – Justin Allgaier capped off a dominate performance by surviving a late-race restart to win the NFPA 250 at Martinsville Speedway.

Allgaier entered Saturday’s race, coming off a win at Darlington Raceway, and once again, he put on a dominate performance, leading a race high 114 laps. With about 50 laps to go, Virginia’s Lee Pulliam was in control of the race but had worn tires put him at a disadvantage. Allgaier, who had fresher tires, took the lead away from Pulliam with 26 laps to go and then took off on the final restart to win his third race of the season and his second at Martinsville.

“We have fired off 2026 better than I could ever imagine,” Allgaier said. “So proud of the race cars that we’ve brought to the racetrack and all our partners. We couldn’t do it without them.”

Allgaier continued and said, “Just the emotion. Again, I said it last week, you get later on in your career, you never know if you’ll ever win another one and to do it the way we’ve done it this year has been pretty special.”

Corey Day earned a career-high finish as he cross the finish line in second. Sammy Smith finished third, followed by Sheldon Creed and Pulliam.

Rounding out the top-10 was Austin Hill, Dean Thompson, Ross Chastain, Ryan Sieg and Brent Crews.

Allgaier won Stage 1 and Hill won Stage 2.

There were 14 lead changes among eight drivers. While Allgaier led the most laps, Pulliam put on an impressive performance as he paced the field for 40 laps, the second most of the day.

Throughout the race, there were 14 cautions. The most notable crash of the day occurred on Lap 235, when Pulliam missed a shift on the restart and the field stacked up behind him. The red flag was displayed for 26 minutes 4 seconds after 19 drivers piled up on the frontstretch.

Allgaier has a huge lead in the standings as he currently leads Jesse Love by 92 points.

The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series will visit Rockingham Speedway on Saturday, April 4 for the North Carolina Education Lottery 250 presented by Black’s Tire. Live coverage will broadcast on the CW Network at 2:30 p.m. ET.
