Connor Zilisch Conquers The Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL For 10th Win Of 2025

CONCORD, NC – Connor Zilisch earned his 10^th win of the 2025 season after dominating the Blue Cross NC 250 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL on Saturday.

Zilisch, a native of Concord, NC has been unstoppable this year. The JR Motorsports driver has now won more than 35% of the NASCAR Xfinity Series races, and there’s still five events to go. On Saturday, Zilisch started on the pole, led a race high of 61 laps and survived a NASCAR Overtime finish en route to Victory Lane.

“Man, thank y’all for coming out, first of all,” Zilisch said. “So much fun getting to race in my hometown. JR Motorsports cars were so fast this weekend. My WeatherTech was as fast as Xfinity Mobile all day long. First in practice and qualified on the pole – led a lot of laps and came home with the win. It feels really good to get 10. Double digits is pretty awesome for my first year in this series, so, now we’ve just got to go and win the championship.”

Finishing second was Austin Green, who is also a Concord, NC native. Green ran up front all race long and scored his best-ever finish in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Sammy Smith finished second, followed by Kaz Grala, who tied his best series finish. Connor Mosack had to pit late but held on to finish fifth. Rounding out the top-10 was Jeb Burton, William Sawalich, Justin Allgaier, Nick Sanchez and Christian Eckes.

Zilisch won Stage 1 and Jesse Love won Stage 2.

The race also marked the end of the Round of 12 of the NASCAR Playoffs. Taylor Gray, Sanchez, Austin Hill and Harrison Burton were eliminated.

Advancing to the Round of 8 is Zilisch, Allgaier, Brandon Jones, Sam Mayer, Love, Sammy Smith, Carson Kvapil and Sheldon Creed.

The Round of 8 will get underway at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday, Oct. 11. The Focused Health 302 will broadcast live on the CW at 7:30 p.m. ET.
