ELM CITY, NC – County Line Raceway hosted the fourth race of the Fast 5 Late Model Challenge on Saturday, July 12.

There were 25 entries in the 4 Boys Racing Supply Late Model division as drivers fought for $3,000 in the 30-lap feature. Dustin Mitchell from Pine Level, NC earned the victory over Wilson NC’s Michael Rouse. Christian Thomas and Russell Erwin rounded out the top-five.

Franklinton, NC’s Cody Keith took the checkered flag in the 20-lap Quality Preowned Super Stock 4 Cylinder feature. Austin Bottoms finished second, followed by Brad Hamm, Jason Horne and Damien Bryant.

Amanda Joyner of Bailey, NC won the 15-lap Carolina Auto Parts & Salvage Thunder V8 feature. Completing the top-five was Brad Cox, Justin Kidd, Tyler Pearce, and Jimmy Gray.

Lee Hardie of Nightdale, NC was victorious in the Tidewater Energy Pure Stock 4 Cylinder feature. Johnny RIchardson was runner-up. Kristian Hopkins, Chris Dunn and Michael Ross completed the top-five.

Gastonia, NC’s Shannon Barnhill won the Bryant’s All Around Services Sport Compact UCAR 15-lap feature. Completing the top-five was Tyler Vaughan, Shawn Peche, Tyler Hopkins and Mike Crickmore.

Mason Ford of Willow Springs, NC won the Mod Lite feature. Eddie Daniels finished second, followed by Steve Dunn, Richie Young and George Chason.
