BRISTOL, Tenn. – Due to rain and track conditions, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway has been postponed until the conclusion of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Food City Dirt Race.

As the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series took the green flag for the first heat race of the day on Saturday, mud kicked up onto the windshields, and the red flag was thrown due to the lack of vision for the drivers. NASCAR and track services attempted to pack down the red clay for the second time, but before the efforts could conclude, rain impacted the track again, ending the evening’s efforts. Heat races for both series were canceled.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will now compete following the NASCAR Cup Series race. The approximate start time will be 9 p.m. ET; however, more rain is expected to impact the track until early afternoon on Sunday. The NASCAR Cup Series Food City Dirt Race is slated to begin at 3:30 p.m., and it will broadcast live on FOX.
