DARLINGTON, S.C. – Persistent rain has forced NASCAR to postpone Tuesday evening’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Toyota 200 at Darlington Raceway to Thursday.

There were 10 Air Titans on the property trying to dry the track throughout the evening, but Mother Nature won the day. The 147-lap race will broadcast live on FOX Sports 1 (FS1) and the Motor Racing Network (MRN) at 12 p.m. ET.

JR Motorsports teammates, Noah Gragson and Michael Annett will start from the pole on Thursday. The race marks the first event for the series since Brandon Jones won the LS Tractor 200 on March 7 at Phoenix Raceway. The COVID-19 pandemic brought the season to a halt soon after.

Weather has also impacted the start of the NASCAR Cup Series Toyota 500 (310.6 miles). Originally scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, NASCAR has already moved the start up to 6 p.m. ET
