Fundraiser Launched To Help Super Truck Racer, Clay Thomas, Who Is Battling Illness

Super Truck racer, Clay Thomas is battling illness, and a fundraiser on Facebook has been launched to assist with medical and everyday bills. The fundraiser’s goal is to raise as close to $125,000 as possible.

The Ellerbe, North Carolina native is an exceptionally success grassroots racer, winning often and capturing solid top-five finishes at Dillon Motor Speedway as well as Myrtle Beach Speedway in South Carolina. Thomas is a driver who is always happy to be at a racetrack.

About the Facebook Fundrasier

Clay has Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Other health issues have put in the hospital for several weeks and is expected to have surgery once he is strong enough. He may still need to continue treatments for the cancer once he has recovered from surgery. He has not been able to work for several months.
The funds will be used to help with medical bills and any expenses to help with everyday bills.
