FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Track champions in eight divisions will be finalized Saturday night when Fayetteville Motor Speedway wraps up its 51st season.

The program is headlined by a $2,500-to-win show for the Sportsman class and a $1,000-to-win clash for the Renegades competitors. Racing in the Late Model, Legends and Stingerz divisions is also part of the bill.

Season-long consistency has helped determined the titlists in five of the speedway’s eight divisions. Still to be decided Saturday night are the champions in the Legends and Renegades ranks.

The tightest battle is in the Legends ranks. Eddie Daniels owns a 29-point cushion over Ryan Shabram, and brothers Scott and Tim Neighbors are 40 and 46 off the pace, respectively. The duel in Renegades shows a 45-point gap between frontrunner Brandon Carter and second-place Martin Sweatt.

Driver who have already secured track titles are: Shaun Harrell (Late Model); John Marshall (Diet Mountain Dew Modified); Benji Thompson (Sportsman); Jerry Dove (SportModz), Kyle Jenks (Stingerz); and Jason Horne (Super Stock 4).

Hot laps get underway at 6:30 p.m. at the 4/10ths-mile dirt oval. Grandstand admission is $20 for adults, $10 for students ages 11-15, and free for children 10 and under. Pit admission is $30 and free for children 10-under.
