LEXINGTON, OH – Austin Cindric won Saturday’s B&L Transport 170 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course to go back-to-back in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Coming off his first-career series victory at Watkins Glen International, 20-year-old Cindric entered Mid-Ohio with momentum heading back to another road course. The driver of the Team Penske No. 22 PPG Ford started on the pole and led 46 of the 75 scheduled laps.

“Man, it feels good,” Cindric said in Victory Lane. “Two in a row!”

Cindric continued and said, “It’s great to come to an event, these guys have some swagger coming back to the shop. Two in a row, going for three at Bristol. I’ll probably go crazy if I win there. I’ve got a little work to do to figure that place out. It should be a lot of fun. This is great momentum for our group.”

For the second weekend in a row, Joe Gibbs Racing’s Christopher Bell finished runner-up to Cindric. Bell has now pieced together six consecutive top-five finishes.

“I do know we’re going to Bristol next week and I can’t wait,” Bell said. “Just really thankful to be able to drive for this Rheem group. They bring really, really fast Supras to the race track every single time. They make me look good, that’s for sure.”

AJ Allmendinger, Tyler Reddick and Noah Gragson rounded out the top-five. Justin Allgaier finished sixth, followed by Chase Briscoe, Cole Custer, Justin Haley and Brandon Jones.

Chase Briscoe won Stage 1, while Jack Hawksworth took the victory in Stage 2.

There were 10 lead changes among eight drivers. The caution flag flew on six occasions for 17 laps.

Tyler Reddick leads Bell in the standings by 28 points.

Up next on the schedule for the NASCAR Xfinity Series is the Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway on Friday, August 16. Live coverage will broadcast on the NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) and the Performance Racing Network (PRN) at 7:30 p.m. ET.
