BROOKLYN, Mich. – Tyler Reddick saved fuel on Saturday at Michigan International Speedway to win the LTI Printing 250, his third victory of the NASCAR Xfinity Series season.

In the closing laps, leaders Cole Custer and Christopher Bell fell victim to their team’s pit strategy and were forced to pit under green. Reddick was running in third at the time and inherited the lead. Reddick led the final 11 laps of the afternoon while driving the Richard Childress Racing No. 2 KC Motorgroup Chevrolet. After starting the race in 10th and overcoming issues on pit road.

“I made some mistakes on pit road, and we didn’t get the track position until the end there when Randall (Burnett, crew chief) made the call that he did,” Reddick said in Victory Lane. “All on great team effort. I didn’t do the thing that I needed to do out on the racetrack, but man it was a great car, and we just put ourselves in a position to win.”

Noah Gragson charged to the front to finish second. The runner-up effort marks Gragson’s second top-five finish in the past three races.

“We’re making those baby steps,” Gragson said. “I want to win. I want to beat that damn 2 so bad. Just frustrated, but I know, I know that we can race with these guys, and we’re just going to keep on plugging away.”

Completing the top-five was Michael Annett, Paul Menard who lead a race high of 56 laps and Justin Allgaier.

Rounding out the top-10 was Brandon Jones, Chase Briscoe, John Hunter Nemechek, Jeb Burton and Justin Haley.

There were six cautions for 29 laps throughout the afternoon.

Reddick leads Bell in the standings by 89 points.
