CONCORD, N.C. – Martin Truex Jr. won his second Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday after making a bold four-wide move for the lead with five laps to go and holding off Joey Logano for the win.
The win is Truex’s third victory at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He led 116 laps en route to his third win of the 2019 season. Logano was right on Truex’s back bumper once the race-winning pass was made, but he just didn’t have enough speed to pass the driver of the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 19 Bass Pro Shops/Tracker ATVs & Boats/USO.
Logano finished second, followed by Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott and Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who rebounded from an early race spin.
