MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Youth 17-and-under will be admitted free to the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway on October 5.

The change falls in line with the 17-and-under are free policy at the Speedway’s NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series races and is similar to the youth policy found at other NASCAR Home Tracks where many of the fans who attend NASCAR’s biggest, richest and most prestigious Late Model Stock Car race spend their Friday and Saturday nights.

“Youth are the future of our sport and we want them to be here without the worry of how much it will cost,” Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell said. “We’ve seen a lot of guests take advantage of youth being free for the Truck Series, and believe that will be the case for the ValleyStar Credit Union 300, as well.”

Adult tickets to the race are $30.

The race regularly sees more than 75 of the country’s best Late Model Stock Car teams fight it out for a share of the $100,000 purse and the iconic grandfather clock trophy.

Additionally, the race will once again serve as the final race in the Virginia Triple Crown, a three-race showdown for the drivers with the best average finishing position in the Thunder Road Harley-Davidson 200 at South Boston Speedway, the Hampton Heat 200 at Langley Speedway and the ValleyStar Credit Union 300.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 877.RACE.TIX or online at www.martinsvillespeedway.com.
