Atlanta Motor Speedway Collecting Items To Help Tornado Victims

HAMPTON, Ga. – Atlanta Motor Speedway, in conjunction with Henry County and Associates Group Insurance, is collecting supplies to help people impacted by recent tornadoes in South Georgia.

The Speedway is among several locations in Henry County accepting donated items. All supplies are requested to be new and items needed include: toiletries, non-perishable items, diapers & wipes and cleaning supplies.

Supplies will be collected at Atlanta Motor Speedway between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. near the Security Command Post at the main entrance to the Speedway through March 11. Donations are also being accepted at the Henry County Administration Building, the Sheriff’s Office, the Public Safety Building, and all Henry County Fire Departments between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Atlanta Motor Speedway is located at 1500 Tara Place in Hampton just off GA Highway 19/41. The Henry County Administration Building is located at 140 Henry County Pkwy in McDonough; The Sheriff’s Office is located at 120 Henry Pkwy in McDonough; and the Public Safety Building is located at 110 S. Zack Hinton Pkwy in McDonough.
