PHOTOS: 2016 Fall Classic At Florence Motor Speedway

TIMMONSVILLE, S.C. – On Sunday afternoon, Florence Motor Speedway hosted the final day of the 17th annual Fall Spectacular.

The speedway hosted the Stock/Pro Fours, Chargers Late Models and Street Stock throughout the day. Kevin Jackson kicked-off the annual event by winning the Stock/Pro Four feature. William Haynie won the Charger feature, the second race of the day. In the 100-lap Late Model feature, it was Averitt Lucas taking home the trophy and the $2,500 purse. The night concluded with Bobbie Tumbleston winning the Street Stock feature.

Hunter Thomas is a journalist who grew up in Darlington, S.C. His first motorsports-based endeavor was working as the Public Relations Director at Dillon Motor Speedway in Dillon, S.C., and his journalism start came while he was freelancing at his hometown newspaper, the News & Press while in college.
