RIDGEWAY, Va. – Mike Looney outran Lee Pulliam and 40 other NASCAR Whelen All-American Series drivers to win the prestigious ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday.

The win marked the first at Martinsville Speedway for Looney and his team owner, Billy Martin. In the closing laps, Looney in the No. 87 A-1 Heating and Cooling Ford went head-to-head with Pulliam in the No. 5 Kiker Tree Service Chevrolet for the race lead. Looney was able to stay out in front and capture the victory, along with the $25,000 purse and grandfather clock.
