Kevin Harvick Fastest in Phoenix Final Practice

Seven-time Phoenix International Raceway winner Kevin Harvick put his No. 4 Jimmy John’s Chevrolet in a familiar place on the scoring pylon – the top spot – in final practice for Sunday’s Good Sam 500(k).

Harvick completed a lap of 26.409 seconds and bested teammate Kurt Busch’s time of 26.437 seconds to claim the title of fastest driver in happy hour.

Pole-sitter Kyle Busch was third on the speed chart with a time of 26.452 seconds while rookie Chase Elliott and Austin Dillon completed the top-five with respective times of 26.452 and 26.462 seconds.

Kasey Kahne, Brad Keselowski, Martin Truex Jr., Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney completed the top-10 of the 50-minute session’s standings.

Over a 10-lap run, Kahne was fastest with an average speed of 135.339 seconds over a run, beating Kurt Busch and Truex Jr’s respective speeds of 135.263 and 135.174 miles per hour.

Jimmie Johnson completed the most laps of the session with 60 while HScott Motorsports’s Michael Annett completed the fewest with 16.

The Good Sam 500(k) will get underway on Sunday at 3:30 p.m ET with FOX and MRN providing live coverage.
