DILLON, S.C. – On Sunday afternoon, Ricky Locklair Jr. held off a stout field of drivers in the Mid Atlantic Street Stock’s (MASS) prestigious 6th annual New Years BASH at Dillon Motor Speedway.

Rain fell upon the speedway on Saturday night following the opening 14 laps, and Dillon Motor Speedway was forced to continue the event at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Locklair Jr. who won the MASS race is also the defending Street Stock track champion at the 4/10th-mile oval located in Dillon County.

Following Sunday’s MASS race, Duane Walker took the checkered flag in the Pure Stock Four feature. Michael Williamson claimed victory in the Charger division the night before just before the rain fell.
