RIDEGWAY, Va. – In a multi-year agreement announced on Friday at Martinsville Speedway, TaxAct will serve as the primary sponsor of Stewart-Haas Racing’s No. 10 TaxAct Chevrolet SS driven by Danica Patrick for four races in 2016. TaxAct will also be an associate sponsor on the car for all of the remaining races of the season.

The tax preparation company was on-board the No. 10 Chevrolet SS for two points-races, as well as the Sprint Unlimited, this year.

“Working with TaxAct has been great and I’m proud to continue this relationship for years to come,” Patrick said. “TaxAct offers a terrific product that empowers people to take the wheel by giving them ownership of their taxes.”

Regarding her relationship with the company, Patrick said, “The company is all about doing things yourself, being empowered, being strong, being confident and that, I feel like, is why it fits so well, why it works so well.”

TaxAct president, JoAnn Kintzel echoed the same sentiment in regards to TaxAct’s relationship with the driver.

“Our partnership with Danica continues to be a natural fit,” said TaxAct President JoAnn Kintzel. “Her fearless and ambitious attitude both on and off the track exemplifies TaxAct’s ‘You got this!’ spirit. Danica’s level of confidence within the world of motorsports mirrors the self-assurance any filer can have when choosing TaxAct as their tax preparation and filing solution. We’re excited to team with Danica and Stewart Haas Racing.”

The company also announced they will now be offering a new service, TaxAct Free to customers. Americans can now use TaxAct Free to file their federal 1040A or 1040EZ and state returns at no cost.

Alongside TaxAct, Nature’s Bakery will serve as the primary sponsor of Patrick’s No. 10 Chevrolet SS for 28 races. Aspen Dental will sponsor her car for four races in 2016, as well. The partnership extension with TaxAct will complete Patrick’s 2016 lineup of sponsors.
