Road America 180 Qualifying Cancelled, Ben Rhodes Polesitter

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. — A muggy, misty day at Road America cancelled qualifying for today’s Road America 180, providing JR Motorsports with a clean sweep of the front row.

With the lineup for today’s 45-lap race being set by Friday’s first practice speeds according to the NASCAR Rulebook, Ben Rhodes will lead the field to green with teammate Chase Elliott starting in P2.

Ryan Blaney, Justin Marks, Brian Scott, Chris Buescher, Boris Said, Paul Menard, Elliott Sadler and Daniel Suarez will complete the top-10 for today’s starting grid.

Other notable starting positions for drivers include P12 for Mid-Ohio winner Regan Smith, P13 for Ty Dillon, P14 for Andy Lally, P15 for defending race winner Brendan Gaughan and P18 for the returning Dylan Kwasniewski.

With 40 drivers entered for the Road America 180, no team will be sent home from the cancellation of today’s qualifying sessions.

The Road America 180 will start at 2:00 p.m CT and will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Network and MRN.
