Back on Top, Frank Kimmel Claims Pocono Pole

LONG POND, Pa. — Frank Kimmel scored his first pole position in the ARCA Racing Series since 2010 after taking the pole for Saturday’s ModSpace 125 at Pocono Raceway on Friday evening.

Kimmel, a three-time Pocono winner, took his 43rd career pole with a lap of 53.423 seconds completed around the 2.5-mile superspeedway and tied Iggy Katona for the most career poles in series history.

Rounding out the top-10 of the starting grid for the 50-lap race are Grant Enfinger, Kyle Weatherman, Matt Kurzejewski, Cole Custer, Austin Theriault, Tom Hessert, Josh Williams, Austin Wayne Self and Matt Tifft.

The ModSpace 125 will be broadcast live on FOX Sports 2 at 3:15 p.m ET.
