Austin Dillon Paces Pocono Mountains 150 Practice

LONG POND, Pa. — Austin Dillon thrashed the field in final practice for tomorrow’s Pocono Mountains 150 earlier today, running a quick lap of 54.060 seconds to top the speed chart of today’s 145-minute session.

Dillon fended off two Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyotas piloted by Erik Jones and Kyle Busch to pace the session by 284-thousandths of a second over the 19-year-old Jones.

Completing the top-10 of the session’s standings were Timothy Peters, Johnny Sauter, John Wes Townley, Brad Keselowski, Tyler Reddick, Ben Kennedy and Matt Crafton.

Red Horse Racing’s Kennedy completed the most laps of the session with 33 circuits completed while Caleb Roark, the 33rd-fastest and final driver on the speed chart, completed a solitary lap in practice.

No driver made a run of 10 consecutive laps.

The conclusion of today’s practice brought about the end of on-track action for the Camping World Truck Series for Friday.

Qualifying for the Pocono Mountains 150 will take place tomorrow at 10:00 a.m ET while the 60-lap race itself will take place at 1:00 p.m ET and will be broadcast on FOX Sports 1 and MRN.
