Kyle Weatherman Sweeps Troop Aid 200 Practices

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Kyle Weatherman swept both Saturday afternoon practices for the Troop Aid 200 at Fairground Speedway Nashville with a lap of 19.799 seconds posted in final practice.

Weatherman led the way with a lap that was nearly a tenth of a second quicker than second-place driver Brandon Jones’s time of 19.884 seconds.

Finishing out the top-10 in the standings of the session were Matt Tifft, Tom Hessert, Michael Lira, Will Kimmel, Clay Greenfield, Josh Williams, Sarah Cornett-Ching and David Levine.

A lone caution period interrupted the 45-minute session in the late stages of the session for debris on the frontstretch.

Qualifying for the Troop Aid 200 will commence at 4:15 p.m CT with the 200-lap event starting at 8:00 p.m CT.
