STATESVILLE, N.C. — 2014 championship runner-up in the ARCA Racing Series, Grant Enfinger, is returning to the series to race full-time for GMS Racing for the 2015 season.

Enfinger, who competed in the final nine races of the 2014 season with GMS, will return to the team that he went to victory lane twice with last year at Berlin and DuQuoin.

The 30-year-old from Fairhope, Alabama, will compete in his third full season in the ARCA Racing Series in a newly-renumbered No. 23 Chevrolet.

“Last season was a great year for us and all of the guys have worked really hard throughout the off-season, giving us a chance to get that trophy in Daytona.” Enfinger said. “We moved up to Statesville (N.C.) at the end of last year. It’s taken a lot of effort from the team, but we are where we want to be with just a few weeks until our first time out in 2015.”

In 71 career starts in the ARCA Racing Series, Enfinger has eight wins (with six coming in 2014), 32 top-fives, 48 top-10 finishes, and two pole positions in his career.

Based off of the tremendous success Enfinger had with the team in the 2014 season, GMS Racing’s Team Manager, Nic Moncher, believes his team is in contention for a championship-winning performance this season.

“Grant proved last season he has what it takes to win races and compete for a championship.” Moncher said.. “We’re happy to have him as part of the GMS Racing family for 2015.”

Enfinger and the GMS organization now turn their attention to the first race of the ARCA season at Daytona, the Lucas Oil 200.

Enfinger will pilot one of two entries for the team next week with Scott Sheldon piloting a No. 20 GMS Chevrolet.
