DARLINGTON, SC – Darlington Raceway will host their 4th annual community watch party at Buffalo Wild Wings in Florence, S.C. later today during the 57th running of the Daytona 500.

The party which is usually held during the Sprint Unlimited was moved to Sunday, February 22 to help promote the “Great American Race”, NASCAR’s points season opener at Daytona International Speedway. The event is set to kick off at noon.

“Our community watch party is a great way for us to engage with our local race fans and celebrate the start of the 2015 NASCAR season,” track president Chip Wile said. “We appreciate our partners, WEGX Eagle 92.9 and Crown Beverages, for their efforts in helping make the event a reality.”

Throughout the afternoon, there will be a variety of food and drink specials, and if the fans choose to, they will be able donate 10 percent of their bill to Darlington Shares, the track’s non-profit organization. Fans will also have a chance to various prizes that’ll enable them to get up close and personal with the drivers come race weekend, such as tickets, pit passes and pre-race ceremony wristbands.

Darlington Raceway’s community watch party is a perfect opportunity to meet and get to know the track staff, as well as Darlington Raceway’s Lady in Black, Kaitlyn Bailey. The atmosphere is always lively during the party, and there’s nothing like watching the race on multiple TVs with surround sound.
