GAFFNEY, S.C. — JD Motorsports revealed its official driver lineup for the 2015 NASCAR XFINITY Series season on Tuesday with the team announcing that they will run three full-time teams this year.

Joining returning driver Landon Cassill at the South Carolina-based organization will be Harrison Rhodes and Ross Chastain.

Cassill will return to the No. 01 Chevrolet he competed in full-time last season while Chastain will move in to the team’s No. 4 Chevrolet full-time. Rhodes’s car number has yet to be revealed.

Rhodes, 21, will compete in his very first full season in the XFINITY Series as he moves over from running partial schedules with JGL Racing and SR2 Motorsports.

Chastain, a veteran of the Camping World Truck Series at the age of 22, will also drive in his first full XFINITY Series season after competing in a total of seven races in 2014 with Hattori Enterprises, Viva Motorsports, and TriStar Motorsports.

The new driver of the No. 4 Chevrolet will bring Watermelon.org and the National Watermelon Association to his new team as a sponsor; Rhodes’s sponsor has yet to be revealed.

“It’s great to be involved with Watermelon.org, and we want to take them along for a great ride this year,” Chastain said. “I’m looking forward to working with Johnny [Davis, team owner] and his guys and making a mark this year in Xfinity.”

In a statement released on teamjdmotorsports.com, Davis spoke about the experience that Chastain brings to his organization.

“Ross has an amazing level of experience for a young driver,” Davis said. “He brings a lot to our team. We’re looking forward to seeing how far we can go this year with his input and the support of Watermelon.org and the National Watermelon Association. It’s going to be a big year.”
