Pacific Palisades, Calif – The Red Bull Global Rallycross schedule features 12 rounds and nine venues during the 2015 season.

In 2015, the season will begin with a new event in St. Petersburg, Fla., and then it’s off to Daytona International Speedway. The third round of the season will be held at a yet to be announced active United States military base. Red Bull Global Rallycross will then visit the Midwest for the first time as the series makes a doubleheader stop in Detroit, the heart and soul of the American automaker industry. Next, the stars of the Red Bull Global Rallycross will travel from the east coast to the west coast as they visit Washington, DC and then Seattle. Once again, Los Angeles will host back-to-back rounds; however, as the season nears its close, the championship drama will be in Barbados for Rounds 10 and 11. Like seasons before, the final event will take place in Las Vegas.

“The 2015 Red Bull Global Rallycross schedule stands to be our best yet,” said Colin Dyne, Red Bull Global Rallycross CEO. “The combination of one of the strongest calendars in all of motorsports, as well as one of racing’s best broadcast packages, thanks to our partnership with NBC Sports Group, is one that will take the racing world by storm this year. With more races and points on the line, we expect to see a thrilling chase for the championship. We are grateful to our many partners for their support throughout the 2014 season, as well as NBC for a fantastic job in their event broadcasts, and we look forward to bringing these relationships into 2015.”

Cities for the 2015 schedule have been unveiled, but the exact locations haven’t. The only confirmed location will be at Daytona International Speedway on Sunday, June 21. The Red Bull Global Rallycross visited the historic venue for the first time last season. During the 2014 edition, Rhys Millen claimed his first career Red Bull Global Rallycross victory.

“We’re thrilled to be welcoming back Red Bull Global Rallycross,” Daytona International Speedway President Joie Chitwood III said. “Our inaugural event in 2014 showed how exciting this brand of racing can be for the fans and we’re looking forward to the opportunity to continue to grow this event in 2015.”

As for the broadcast, times and whether or not the events will be aired live, haven’t been announced, but the Red Bull Global Rallycross will return to the NBC family of networks. There will be 14.5 hours of content, and for the first time in series history, the GRC Lites will have 30-minute broadcasts of each event on their schedule. You’ll be able to watch the up and coming Supercar drivers that compete in the GRC Lites on NBCSN.
