Darrell Wallace Jr. On Pole For Kroger 200

MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Darrell Wallace Jr. won the Keystone Light Pole Award at Martinsville Speedway after running a lap of 19.679 seconds at 96.224 mph on Saturday morning.

Wallace Jr. won the Kroger 200 last year at Martinsville Speedway, and now he enters this weekend’s Kroger 200 third in points, just 28 back to point leader, Matt Crafton. This is Wallace Jr.’s third pole of the season.

Timothy Peters will start second, followed by Matt Crafton and Cole Custer. Ryan Blaney rounds out the top-five.

Jeb Burton, who was fastest during the first round of qualifying, will start ninth.

Austin Hill will start 19th in his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut.

Coverage for the Kroger 200 will start at 1:30 p.m. ET today on Fox Sports 1.
