WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. — The second and final road course race weekend for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is upon us this weekend as 43 drivers will take to the 2.45-mile Watkins Glen International circuit for Sunday’s Cheez-It 355 at the Glen.

Alongside of the Sprint Cup regulars in the field for Sunday’s race will be three road course ringers. Boris Said, a familiar face to those who are fans of NASCAR’s road-course racing product, will be entered for his second race of the year in Go FAS Racing’s No. 32 Ford this week while Alex Kennedy will attempt to race in his fourth race of the season in the No. 33 Chevrolet for Hillman-Circle Sport LLC this weekend.

Former Formula 1 and NASCAR driver and current Red Bull Global RallyCross driver Nelson Piquet Jr. is entered for his first career Sprint Cup race in Randy Humphrey Racing’s No. 77 Ford. RHR’s entry for this weekend’s event marks their return to the Sprint Cup Series stage after a six-race hiatus from the series.

Five former Watkins Glen winners are entered for Sunday’s race – Tony Stewart (Stewart-Haas Racing), Jeff Gordon (Hendrick Motorsports), Marcos Ambrose (Richard Petty Motorsports), Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing), and Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing.)
