NEW WESTON, Ohio. — With a lap of 19.900 seconds, Erik Jones (Kyle Busch Motorsports) scored his first career 21 Means 21 Pole Award in the Camping World Truck Series and will start on the pole in tonight’s 1-800-Car-Cash Mudsummer Classic at the Eldora Speedway.

The pole award for tonight’s dirt race was won through single-car qualifying sessions on the half-mile clay oval in New Weston, Ohio. Jones would beat out Mason Mingus (Win-Tron Racing), Ron Hornaday Jr. (Turner Scott Motorsports), Matt Crafton (ThorSport Racing), and Ken Schrader (Haas Racing Development) to claim the fifth pole of the year for the No. 51 ToyotaCare team.

The final grid for the Mudsummer Classic has not been set yet as five 10-lap qualifying races and a 15-lap last-chance qualifying race are set to kick off at 7:00 p.m ET. Jones, Mingus, Hornaday, Crafton, and Schrader will respectively lead each of the first five heat races to green.

Live coverage for each qualifying race will be provided by FOX Sports 1.
