DOVER, Del. — Brad Keselowski (Team Penske) was able to transfer his Friday pace over to Saturday as he was the fastest car in both of Saturday’s practices for the FedEx 400.

The FedEx 400 polesitter ran the fastest lap of the day in this morning’s practice with a lap of 22.542 seconds. Keselowski would also be near the top of the speedchart in the final practice of the day, running the second-quickest lap of the last session of the day with a lap of 22.746 seconds.

The only driver to best Keselowski’s time in the final practice was Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports.) The eight-time Dover winner ran a lap of 22.661 seconds in the final session, beating his lap of 22.750 seconds in the morning session.

Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing) was consistently fast throughout the day, running the second and fifth-fastest laps in the second and final practice session for the race – respectively. Team owner Tony Stewart would join Harvick in the top-10 in the first session.

Michael Waltrip Racing’s pair of drivers – Clint Bowyer and Brian Vickers – have shown that they have brought two quick race-trim cars to Dover this weekend. Both MWR drivers were able to make it into the top-10 of the second practice with Vickers leading the way with his lap of 22.682 seconds. Vickers would be the only MWR driver to repeat his second practice pace in final practice, running eighth-fastest in the afternoon with a lap of 22.879 seconds.

An even mix of Chevrolets, Fords, and Toyotas were present in the top-10 of both sessions, showing that a single manufacturer does not have a clear advantage over their competitors at the one-mile concrete oval.
